The Suikoden series of video games is probably my favorite at the moment, and I only played them for the first time about four months ago. I originally thought that I was going to feel bogged down with 108 characters per game, but they're all different, so it didn't feel as bad (the fact that I only used maybe 12 of them total certainly helped). I really wish Konami would translate and release the Suikogaiden games, though... text-based adventures might not appeal to the general public, but for those of us who are already hooked, we'd gladly go for it!
